About Coach Janos

This is probably not what you expected to read here.

I’m not your typical coach.

I didn’t grow up in a healthy family.

I wasn’t athletic.

For most of my life, I wasn’t healthy at all.

If I hadn’t taken responsibility and made the effort to change, my life today would look completely different.

I was a chain smoker.

I drank occasionally.

I was addicted to video games.

I had no idea what a healthy diet looked like.

Every time I bought food, I would ask my partner (now my ex) or a friend:

“Will this make me fat?”

“Will this make me healthy?”

I had zero understanding of nutrition — and even less understanding of exercise.

At the time, I believed gym training was for people trying to compensate for something.

I was convinced everyone in the gym was on steroids.

So yes — I had a long way to go.

The Turning Point

In my early twenties, I started noticing signs of early decline.

I was weak. Fragile. Slightly overweight.

Worse than that — I felt mentally slower. Foggy. Unclear.

At 23, that’s not a good place to be.

I would sometimes pass out.

I looked exhausted.

I felt like I was falling apart.

I knew I needed a way out.

Like most people, I started with random online workouts.

Burpees. More burpees. Even more burpees.

Did it work? Not really.

But it was a start.

I got injured from time to time, but I didn’t quit.

I didn’t know what I was doing, but I kept searching for answers.

I asked several personal trainers for help. I had no money.

Most of them turned me away.

That was hard — mentally and physically.

At the same time, another issue was developing in the background: My beloved and quite serious back problems.

Genetics didn’t help.

Poor nutrition didn’t help.

Lack of sleep didn’t help.

A demanding job didn’t help.

Eventually I realised something important.

My real enemy wasn’t my back.

It was weakness.

The Realisation

I thought I was unique in this struggle.

I wasn’t.

Weakness is everyone’s nemesis.

Pain, setbacks, stress — they’re part of life.

Avoiding them doesn’t solve anything.

The solution is to become stronger.

Physically.

Structurally.

Mentally.

Strength builds resilience.

Strength builds capability.

Strength builds a body that can handle life.

Why I Do This

While rebuilding my own health and completing my personal training education, I started working in an office environment.

That’s when it clicked.

Desk life slowly weakens people.

Less movement.

Lower energy.

More pain.

Less confidence.

I recognised myself in them.

So I decided to help.

I help people who feel stuck rebuild strength and take control again.

Not by avoiding discomfort.

But by using structured, intelligent training to build a stronger, healthier body that supports a long and enjoyable life.

Because strength isn’t about ego.

It’s about capability.

And capability changes everything.
